Spaghetti Sauce

A hearty meat-and-vegetable tomato sauce for a big pot of spaghetti.

prep 20 minutes cook 1 hour serves 8

Preparation

  1. Brown the ground beef (or pork) in a large pot over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the celery, onion, bell peppers, and garlic and cook until softened.
  3. Stir in the crushed tomatoes and seasonings.
  4. Simmer at least an hour, stirring occasionally, and adjust the seasoning to taste before serving.
